Postmodernity, pluralism, politics.

Post-modern societies are so plural that anyone, no matter how much they conform to one norm, can plausibly claim to “transgress” another. 

Ironic, don’t you think?

It is ironic how un-ironic “ironic racism” is. 

Assume that capitalism, patriarchy, and empire are absolute truths.

Only on this assumption can one claim that socialism, feminism, and decolonization are “morally relativistic.”

History with a big H is back, whether we like it or not. Whether humanity with a little h is back is up to us.

What kind of responsibility?

Ninety nine times out of one hundred, responsibility means conformity to moral standards. One time, responsibility means everything.
