Ever notice how the ones who see your ideas about race as simple are the ones “blind” to their simple racism?

The blind men and the elephant.

Each holds a view of the elephant based on the part he has touched; each is willing to fist fight every other before the delighted king. The Buddha doesn’t see the whole elephant; what he sees is the danger of clinging to views.

Would sight be better?

Love is blinded by passionate attachment, while justice is blinded by dispassionate distance.

It’s all around you.

Blind pessimism is just as naïve as blind optimism.
