I have studied the Western tradition.

Did not “the West” lose its “tradition” a long time ago? And did I not lose an “Eastern tradition” a long before coming to “the West”?

To have, to be.

I have lost. Now I am loss.


When your cup runs too full, do not seek out another cup. When your cup breaks, do not drink from your hand.

In the beginning….

Lack is prior to loss or gain.


One with truly nothing to lose has lost even the possibility of acquiring.

Losing what you don’t have.

As actuality is limited, the loss of something actual can heal with time. The loss of something potential can cripple indefinitely, for possibilities are endless.
